Who is responsible

Degen Lab, the game studio behind this site, decides how your data is used. You can reach us on X: @degen_lab.

Browsing the site

You can browse without an account. The site uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps technical logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.

Signing in with Discord

Signing in creates an account with the data Discord shares with us: your Discord ID, username, avatar and email address. We also keep a session record, made of a session cookie, your IP address and your browser type, to keep you signed in and protect your account.

Linking Stake and submitting bets

To take part in the crates, you link your Stake account by placing a Keno bet that proves you own it. We store your Stake username and account ID. When you submit a bet, we look it up on Stake through our own lookup service and store its details: bet ID, game, currency, amount, multiplier, payout, their value in US dollars and the date of the bet.

Crates and tips

We record the crates you earn and open, what they contain, and whether each Stake tip has been sent to your Stake account.

Why we use this data

• To run the crates program: check that a bet is yours and eligible, award crates and send tips.
• To keep you signed in.
• To prevent abuse, such as submitting the same bet twice or using several accounts.

We rely on two legal bases: running the service you signed up for, and our legitimate interest in keeping it secure and fair.

Who handles it

• Vercel, which hosts the site.
• Neon, which hosts the database on AWS servers in London.
• Discord, for signing in.
• Stake, where the bets you submit are looked up.

We never sell your data or share it for advertising.

Cookies

Only the cookies the site needs: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and, while the site is in preview, a cookie that remembers the preview password. Nothing else is stored in your browser.

How long we keep it

Your data stays as long as your account exists, and sessions expire on their own. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data, except the record of tips already sent, which we keep as proof of payment.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Send the request on X to @degen_lab. You can also complain to the data protection authority of the country where you live.

Changes

If what we collect changes, we update this page and the date at the top. The rules of the crates themselves are in the terms of use.
