How Rex Rampage plays
Rex Rampage is a 5-reel, 4-row video slot with 14 fixed paylines, set in a prehistoric land of volcanoes and crystals. Wins pay from left to right, starting on the leftmost reel, for 3 or more identical symbols in a row; only the highest win is paid on each payline, and wins on different paylines add up. The Wild substitutes for all paying symbols except the Scatter and the Volcano, and a payline of 5 Wilds pays 30×.
The Volcano lands in the base game on reels 2 to 4 and does not pay. When it lands, it erupts: 3 to 20 meteors rain down on random cells, and every cell they hit turns into a crystal. Before the wins are counted, all the crystals on the screen reveal the same symbol, any paying symbol or a Wild, never a Scatter.
Violet crystals also reveal a multiplier from ×2 to ×10 on their cell. A winning payline is multiplied by the multipliers of all the violet crystals it goes through, multiplied together: ×2 and ×5 on the same payline give ×10.
Three Free Spins bonuses
Landing 3, 4 or 5 Scatters in the base game triggers 10 free spins. During the free spins, crystals land from the reels and stick: each crystal stays on its cell until the end of the bonus and reveals a new symbol on every spin, so the screen fills up with crystals as the bonus goes on, and every violet crystal draws a new multiplier on every spin. Every Scatter that lands awards 1 more free spin, with no limit.
Bonus (3 Scatters) reveals any paying symbol or a Wild. Super Bonus (4 Scatters) adds more violet crystals, and its crystals only reveal high paying symbols or Wilds. Hidden Bonus (5 Scatters) also adds more violet crystals, and its crystals only reveal Wilds. The maximum win is 25,000× the bet: if it is reached, the round ends immediately and the max win is awarded.
